CULTURAL SPIRIT AWARD WINNER

KIERRA STEVENS – Kierra Stevens is graduating this year from Mount Elizabeth High School in Kitimat BC; she is currently taking a full academic workload in math and sciences, in preparation for Nursing School upon graduation. At the recent Junior All Native Provincials held in Williams Lake , Kierra received an All-Star award and was scouted by Burman University in Alberta. Kierra will be travelling to Alberta later in April to tour the campus. Kierra was also named the Most Valuable Player in this years 12th Annual Kitamaat Basketball Tournament. For her very hard work and dedication both athletically and academically, Kierra is a very deserving winner of this years Cultural Spirit Award.
